As usual with "filler stories" (which come long after the real news of the day), they didn't give the REAL specifics. The real deal is that it only works with diesel engines and the ratio of diesel to vegetable oil pretty significant. Bravo to people that are trying to brainstorm solutions to the energy problems, but I thought it was pretty misleading for CNN, MSNBC and the other networks to pass this off as some kind of hope for relief from the current gas price spike. Their line " stay tuned for possible relief from high gasoline prices". Then I want to punch the television for leading me on as if suddenly Saudi Arabia is going to drop the oil prices to $13 a barrel. Last year this time, a story like that wouldn't have gotten the air time. No offense but....mentioning Yukons, Tahoes and Cherokees in the same post alluding to gas alternatives and prices? We Americans truly are a selfish bunch :}
